FAQ

In the intensive German course you learn German efficiently and fast. For example, if you want to achieve sufficient skills in all aspects of the German language to enter an Austrian university (Level B2 or C1), it will take you about 6-9 months, assuming you are an absolute beginner. If you already have some German knowledge, it will take you correspondingly shorter. Information about our Intensive courses you can find on our homepage.

On average 9 participants from various countries guarantee an international learning atmosphere and best possibilities for efficient work.

They come from various European countries such as Sweden, Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary, France, Belgium, Croatia, Bosnia, and Greece. Furthermore, they come from Turkey, the Arab States, Japan or South Korea, the USA and Canada, Mexico or South America. Of course, we also have participants from Australia and the African countries.

Most course participants are between 18 and 35 years old and need German for their studies or jobs. Some also have a German-speaking partner in their lives, or they want to learn German just for fun. Participants older than 35 years attend German courses at Alpha as well and blend in perfectly into the learning groups. If you are younger than 16 we would ask you to contact us personally before your registration. The minimum age for German course participants is 16. Students under 18 booking accommodation with us need to bring a confirmation signed by their parents stating that they take all responsibility for the student during the whole time of his/her stay in Austria.
