Vienna is situated in the middle of many European highways. Remember that, like most large cities, there is much traffic in the city. The inner city districts from 1 to 9 and the districts 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 have short-term parking, which means that a car can only park with a parking ticket and for limited amount of time.
Vienna has a very good public transport system with five underground lines, and many buses, tramways and night lines.
The stations are very close to the Institut, only 3 minutes to walk. Underground: U1, U2, U4 - station Karlsplatz, Tramway: 1, 2, D, 71 - station Schwarzenbergplatz and all tramways to station Opera.
