ÖSD GRUNDSTUFE DEUTSCH 1

The candidate is supposed to have the ability to communicate in very simple everyday situations on an elementary level of German. The exam puts more stress on the understanding skills (reading and listening) than on the production skills (writing and speaking).

Format of examination:
listening comprehension: three parts, reading for gist and detail
reading comprehension: three parts, listenting for gist and detail
written expression: fill in a form and write a short e-mail (guiding points)
oral examination: simple, guided conversation on an everyday topic

Duration of the examination:
written examination: appr. 60 minutes
oral examination: appr. 10 minutes + 10 minutes preparation time

Time:
written examination: on the first day, starting at 1 p.m.
oral examination: on the second day, exact information you will get on the first day of examination

Prerequisite: 150 - 200 units of intensive study, completion of Basic Level A1

Level:
The G1 of OSD follows the level A1 / Breakthrough of the Common European Framework.

A prerequisite for admission to an ÖSD-exam is an accurate preparation
